Goood morning, goood mooorning!

Okay, so a very late "Good Morning" but hey, I was up half the night! Cut me some slack,

Why was I up half the night? Well I'd like to say it's because I was prancing from party to party, but really I was tucked up in bed with a book I just could put down.

Oh Wow. What an amazing book! The second I had finished it I tweeted John Green straight away to say thank you for writing it. If you haven't read it, then you must!

However, having such a crazy, wild night meant that I've had a very sleepy morning. Pottering about the garden with my bowl of muesli, sipping on a glass of OJ, enjoying the sunshine.

Hot chocolate

Finishing the day with hot chocolate with dad... Yumm yum yum... Not very fitting with the weather, but I'm feeling rebellious today :p

How cool is my mug?? Nooo i didn't spill chocolate down the front of it! That's part of the design!

Don't worry, I didn't realise either.
When it was initially given to me as a present I proceeded to scrub what I thought was a dirty mark away. My friend just laughed at me.

Good one.

Reflections

Today has been nearly as productive as I would have liked it to be ;)
I surprised myself!

It was a beautiful day in England today, so I spent it working in our conservatory with the windows and doors cracked wide open... So I was enjoying the sunshine in a quasi kind of way!

When my mum came home, we took the dog for a walk, to catch the last of the sun.

Dad had cooked us dinner, it was delicious and it's safe to say I'm STUFFED!

I've now returned to the confines of the conservatory, to try study a little more... but I have to say, working in here really doesn't feel too much like "work".
Mum has made it so quaint and pretty that in the evening twilight it's a really peaceful place to come, sit back and reflect on your day.

The sun is shining and my new foundation smells like sun cream. Yay. Time to edit my cv... Boooo

Motivation??

Whenever I come home from uni I just seem to CRASH.

The late nights, warped sleeping patterns, coursework induced panic and of course...the alcohol all seem to catch up with me: collectively knocking me down in one massive blow.

I have been home a week now, and its safe to say I have done veryy veryy little, and I can feel myself beginning to feel frustrated, agitated, and itching to get going again.

But the slow, lazy life of sleepy surburbia seems to have a way of lulling me into a peaceful, yet irritating state of nonchalance...which has horrifying effects on my motivation.

But TODAY. Today will be different. I am now going to go away, drink my tea and then crack on with essentially, sorting my life out.

F*ck you surburbia, I'm stealing my motivation back!

Mmm coffeeee

One of the things I miss most at uni, is a cup of coffee from my parents machine at home.
It's a little slow, and you only get a small cup... But ohh mii gosh it tastes a-mazing!

Starting afresh

In my time, I have created a vast amount of online profiles. Almost all of them as a means of procrastination, and I have to say this blog is no exception.
I seem to have an incredible nack for taking a sudden, but very real interest in something...when I really should be doing something else.
Sadly, this interest is often short lived. I can be rather flaky with new online projects, I fall guilty of neglecting them, failing to maintain them... passwords become forgotten and the content dated.
Eventually I crack on with whatever job I really should have been doing in the first place, and my new internet challenge becomes a memory of only my internet browsers history.
HOWEVER, this is going to be different. This WILL work! I have daydreamed about having a fantasticly trendy blog. A place to share my uber cool photos and exciting tales.
In reality, I'm frightfully boring, but nontheless I think future me will be grateful to present me, for taken a few minutes a couple of times a week... to sit down for a moment and document snippets of my life.
And THAT is why this will work. This blog will be a little present from me, to me.
